Visitors heading to Dubai’s Global Village from Ras Al Khaimah will now have a dedicated public transport option, with the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority introducing a new weekend bus route beginning this Friday, November 28.
Instead of relying on private vehicles, travellers can board the service from RAK’s main bus station, where two departures are scheduled daily every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The trips head directly to the designated public bus stops at Global Village.
According to the timetable released by the authority, buses leave Ras Al Khaimah at 3pm and 5pm. Return journeys from Global Village are set for 10pm and 12am, allowing passengers to stay until the attraction closes.
The fare has been set at Dh30 per trip, offering an affordable option for families and groups planning weekend outings. Officials said the route is intended to provide easier access to the popular destination for residents in Ras Al Khaimah and nearby communities.
For more information or assistance, passengers may call the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority hotline at 8001700.
