A fresh edition of Alfonso Bakbakan’s Battle of the Bands is set to unfold at Barako Grill inside Barracuda Beach Resort in Umm Al Quwain, bringing together emerging performers for a month-long showdown that culminates in a championship night on January 31, 2026.
Instead of beginning with the finals, the competition launches with four elimination dates set on January 3, 10, 17, and 24, including a special Abu Dhabi leg on January 17 with the venue to be announced. Participating bands will aim to earn a place in the final round while also competing for weekly recognition and a cash reward of AED 1,200.
What awaits the overall winner is a top prize of AED 13,000, while non-winning finalists will still take home a consolation award worth AED 3,000.
Adding star power to the event are guest performers Kevin, Baryo, and Crows Ravens, who are expected to appear throughout the season.
