Vice President Sara Duterte ended 2024 with a larger declared net worth compared to when she entered national office, according to records of her Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth obtained by GMA Integrated News Research.
Her latest filing showed P88,512,370.22 in net worth as of December 31, 2024, marking the highest figure she has reported since becoming Vice President.
Earlier documents show that when she assumed office on June 30, 2022, Duterte declared P71,058,841. At the time, her family’s real estate portfolio reached P50,958,891, while vehicles and other personal holdings amounted to P23,849,950. She also listed a personal loan of P3,750,000.
By the end of her first six months in office, her liabilities had slightly decreased, bringing her year-end 2022 net worth to P71,658,841. The total value of her assets remained unchanged, but her personal loan dropped to P3,150,000.
A more noticeable jump appeared in her December 31, 2023 filing, when her net worth reached P77,508,841. The increase corresponded with the acquisition of a residential lot and a house, pushing real properties to P54,808,891. Her personal assets rose to P25,249,950, while her remaining loan fell to P2,550,000.
Her most recent SALN reflected more substantial adjustments. Real properties climbed to P66,808,891 after her husband purchased two parcels of land worth P12 million. Personal belongings, including vehicles, were valued at P31,653,479.22.
The 2024 document also noted new liabilities. Duterte secured an P8-million loan last year, even as her earlier loan balance declined to P1,950,000, raising her total obligations to P9,950,000.
