A popular real estate learning session aimed at helping overseas Filipinos become property investors in the UAE is returning to Abu Dhabi after strong public demand. The “Be a Dubai Landlord” training is set on Saturday, 22 November, at Synergy Hub International, 17th floor, Mohd Al Otaiba Building along Najda Street—the same building as West Zone, opposite the Nissan showroom.
Organizers said the program is designed for residents who want to shift from paying rent to building wealth through property ownership. The session will walk participants through practical strategies such as traditional leasing, Airbnb-style short-term rentals, and co-ownership, which allows buyers to invest with smaller initial capital.
The training emphasizes the continued strength of Dubai’s rental market, where expatriates make up around 85 percent of the population. Facilitators also highlight how the Dubai 2040 urban development plan is expanding the city’s infrastructure and creating new opportunities for long-term capital growth.
Participants are expected to learn how to:
- transition from renter to landlord
- generate passive income alongside full-time employment
- understand capital appreciation and rental yields
- explore shared-investment pathways for beginners
Event organizers noted that interest from Abu Dhabi residents has surged in recent months, prompting the return of the session to the capital. Registration is required, and seats are limited.
