A meaningful career becomes even more fulfilling when it empowers others and creates impact beyond oneself. Such is the journey of Marinette Panganiban Liquido, whose work in education and community service has uplifted countless Filipinos both in the UAE and back home.

Building roots in education
Marinette’s professional path began in the Philippines as a Special Education (SPED) teacher, where she discovered her calling to guide young minds with patience, empathy, and structure. “Education is my passion,” she shares with TGFM, emphasizing how her early years in the classroom shaped her future vision. Nearly two decades ago, she brought that dedication to the UAE, determined to continue serving Filipino families.
Her drive led her to establish United Expats International School, an institution founded on the Matatag curriculum. The school reinforces Filipino identity through learning while ensuring students abroad remain connected to their culture. “I wanted a place where children could feel rooted even while growing up overseas,” she explains. Through small-group instruction and a nurturing environment, the school promotes meaningful, accessible education catered to the needs of expatriate learners.

Expanding opportunities for the community
Marinette’s mission grew alongside the evolving needs of Filipinos in the region. Recognizing the barriers many expatriates face—from employment hurdles to migration requirements—she launched UEI HR and Immigration Consultancy, along with Addai International Traders. These expansion efforts are designed to support Filipinos seeking better opportunities across borders.
“Helping others find stability is just as important as educating them,” she says. Her consultancy services extend guidance to those navigating job placements, residency processes, and transitions abroad. With programs ranging from bartending courses to expedited degree offerings delivered online, her organization responds to real, practical needs of adult learners.
Leading with heart and service

Beyond her entrepreneurial and educational pursuits, Marinette remains deeply engaged with community organizations such as Filsoc, the Philippine EAGLES, and the Guardians. Her involvement reflects her belief in unity and service—values she upholds through consistent outreach and volunteer work.
“My goal is to create spaces where Filipinos abroad feel supported, empowered, and seen,” she shares. Through her initiatives, many have found not only opportunities but also a renewed sense of belonging.
