A Filipina business leader in Dubai has been chosen as one of the world’s most influential Filipina women, earning global recognition for championing entrepreneurship and community advancement.
Lourds Adalia-Evertse, Co-founder and Managing Director of the UAE-grown restaurant brand Spice Grill, has been selected as an honoree of The Most Influential Filipina Woman in the World™ (Global FWN100) under the Builder – Architect of Change category. She will be formally recognized at the Filipina Women’s Network’s 25th-anniversary celebration on October 31, 2025, in San Francisco.
The award highlights Filipinas who transform industries and communities through leadership and innovation. In the Builder category, honorees are recognized for reshaping systems and paving the way for inclusive growth and lasting impact.
Adalia-Evertse leads a thriving homegrown dining concept with branches in Sharjah, Al Ghurair Mall, and BurJuman Dubai, solidifying her footprint in the region’s competitive F&B landscape. Before venturing into hospitality, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Creative Zone, the UAE’s largest business setup advisory firm, where she helped thousands of entrepreneurs establish and grow their ventures in the country.
Her journey spans entrepreneurship, athletics, and motherhood, reflecting a commitment to excellence, resilience, and balanced living. As the sole honoree based in Dubai this year, she brings pride to the Filipino community in the UAE and represents a growing wave of Filipina business leaders shaping global industries.
The Global FWN100 Awards were first launched in 2007 in Washington, D.C., and honor Filipinas whose achievements inspire and elevate the global diaspora. This year’s cohort includes changemakers from the Philippines, United States, Australia, and other regions, celebrating 25 years of advancing Filipina leadership through the Filipina Women’s Network.
