400 join ‘Walkathon for a Cause’ in Bahrain to support persons with disabilities

More than 400 individuals came together at the ‘Walkathon for a Cause,’ turning each step into a gesture of hope and support for the Bahrain Association of Parents and Friends of the Disabled (BAPFD). Organized by the Filipino Club Bahrain in collaboration with Water Garden City and the Capital Governorate, the event showcased the power of community and compassion in action.

Walking With Intention

Held on Friday, October 24, 2025, the event transformed the scenic Water Garden City into a vibrant runway of goodwill. Participants from a diverse mix of nationalities, families, and organizations walked side by side, united by a shared goal; promoting inclusivity and supporting the disabled community in Bahrain. The turnout of people highlighted both the enthusiasm of the attendees and the organizational excellence of the organizers.

The Filipino Club Bahrain (FCB) continues to strengthen its reputation not only as a vibrant cultural hub for the Filipino community but also as a leading force in promoting social initiatives within the Kingdom. Their combined efforts ensured smooth execution and strengthened FCB’s role in fostering community engagement, inclusivity, and charitable initiatives in Bahrain embodied the Bayanihan spirit of unity by mobilizing support beyond their own membership.
