A German citizen was discovered lifeless inside his condominium unit in Cainta, Rizal, after neighbors reported a foul odor coming from his residence, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
Police identified the victim as Tobias Wahl, who lived in Cluster 31 of Cambridge Village in Barangay San Andres.
Authorities said residents alerted the building security on November 2 after noticing a strong and unusual smell from Wahl’s unit. When a security guard checked the condo, he found blood stains in the bathroom and the victim motionless and bloodied.
The guard immediately informed police, who responded to the scene and began their investigation.
The Cainta Municipal Police are still determining the cause of death and are looking into whether foul play was involved. Further forensic examination and witness interviews are ongoing.
