A luxury beachfront escape in Ras Al Khaimah is rolling out the red carpet for four-legged travelers. Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort has unveiled a curated pet-friendly staycation, offering pampered experiences for dogs and their owners in partnership with Groomology, the emirate’s first mobile pet grooming service, and Dubai-based luxury pet lifestyle label Howl & Growl.
The resort says the experience is designed to blend premium hospitality with comfort for every family member, including furry ones. Each pet-friendly room includes a plush pet bed, feeding bowls, and complimentary dog food. Guests will also find stylish touches courtesy of Howl & Growl, with each pet receiving a leash, collar, or bandana upon arrival. A QR code in the room links guests to the brand’s online boutique for access to accessories, toys, and home products.
Fur parents can stroll through landscaped grounds, relax on the beach, and dine outdoors across multiple restaurants such as Waka, Samphire, Reunion, East, and Veritas, where pets are welcome on terraces. Dogs may enjoy the shoreline on a leash and can swim outside the designated guest zone, although pool areas remain off-limits in line with resort rules.
Adding a wellness twist to the stay, Groomology offers exclusive grooming services on-site through its mobile van, allowing pets to enjoy a spa-style refresh without leaving the property.
The resort’s guidelines include a 20-kilogram pet limit and charges of AED 350 for room cleaning and AED 70 per pet. There is no cap on the number of pets per room, and pets must remain leashed or in carriers in public areas.
