Residents across the UAE can expect shifting skies, cooler breezes, and periods of light to moderate rain as a stretch of unsettled weather settles over the country from Monday, November 3 to Friday, November 7, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The change marks the country’s transition from autumn to winter, with forecasters noting increasing cloud formation over western and coastal regions and occasional fresh winds. Temperatures are also expected to ease slightly throughout the week.
Conditions will generally remain partly cloudy, turning more overcast at times, particularly along coastal areas and islands. The NCM said rain may fall at intervals, with seas ranging from slight to moderate and turning rough at times in the Arabian Gulf.
Humidity will dominate early mornings, especially in coastal and inland areas, before skies turn partly cloudy. Winds will fluctuate between southeasterly and northwesterly directions, blowing between 10 and 25 km/h and occasionally picking up to 35–40 km/h.
The west and Al Dhafra region are expected to see the most cloud activity, with the chance of rain persisting through Thursday. A brief rise in temperatures is likely mid-week, followed by another dip on Friday as cooler air returns.
Authorities advise motorists and beachgoers to stay updated on marine and weather alerts as winds strengthen at intervals and sea conditions vary.
