Major Dubai roads to close on Nov. 2 for Dubai Ride 2025

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out a detailed traffic plan ahead of Dubai Ride 2025, the region’s largest community cycling event set for Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Thousands of cyclists are expected to take part, prompting temporary road closures across key routes from 3am to 10am to ensure participant safety and smooth movement along the cycling corridors.

Among the affected roads are sections of Sheikh Zayed Road between the Trade Centre Roundabout and Al Hadiqa Bridge, Lower Financial Centre Street between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, as well as one direction of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard.

Motorists are advised to use alternative roads including Upper Financial Centre Street, Zabeel Palace Road, Al Wasl Road, Al Khail Road, and Al Asayel Road.

The RTA encouraged residents and commuters to plan travel ahead and use the designated routes to avoid delays. The authority highlighted that the closures are part of the city’s support for public fitness and active lifestyle initiatives.

Details of traffic diversions and closures have been shared through official RTA platforms, with the authority thanking the public for their cooperation and noting that community events like Dubai Ride reflect the emirate’s commitment to health, wellbeing, and accessible public spaces.
