Bianca Umali asks NAIA to add chairs for passengers sitting on the floor amid renovation

Actress Bianca Umali has called on the management of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 to install temporary chairs for passengers waiting for their flights during the terminal’s ongoing rehabilitation.

In an Instagram Story posted on Sunday, October 19, Umali shared photos of several travelers sitting on the floor inside the terminal, noting the lack of available seating.

“With all due respect po, we understand that our airports are currently under construction — as you’ve said, ‘we are building a better NAIA for you,’” she wrote.

The actress acknowledged the renovation efforts but stressed the need to provide at least temporary seating options.

NAIA Terminal 3 is currently undergoing major rehabilitation under a public-private partnership modernization project signed in 2024.
