Known for its minimalist one-take format that spotlights pure artistry, THE FIRST TAKE by Sony Music Entertainment Japan has hosted some of the world’s biggest names in music. SB19 first graced the channel in July 2024, marking history as the first Filipino act to perform on the platform with their high-energy rendition of “GENTO.” Just weeks later, they followed up with a heartfelt version of “MAPA,” a tribute to parents.
