UAE residents planning their next getaway can now pinpoint the best travel dates for affordable fares. According to Expedia’s latest Fall Travel Outlook, November 11 and 19 will be the cheapest days to fly, while November 24 is projected to be the most expensive.
Those seeking a smoother airport experience are advised to book flights on November 20, 21, or 22—considered the quietest travel days of the month.
Expedia noted that airfare prices typically dip after the summer surge, making November’s “shoulder season” an ideal period for budget-conscious travellers.
“Fall is the sweet spot for savvy travellers,” said Melanie Fish of Expedia Group Brands. “Airfares are dropping, and routes are quieter towards the third week of November — perfect for long-haul trips to the US and Canada.”
Trending destinations among UAE travellers include tropical escapes such as Koh Samui, Mallorca, and Ibiza, which are seeing notable booking increases. Cultural hotspots like Copenhagen, Prague, and Osaka are also popular this season, along with scenic adventures to Iceland and Niagara Falls.
Expedia recommends travellers activate price alerts for fare drops, opt for hotels with flexible cancellation policies, and bundle flight-and-hotel deals to save even more on their autumn holidays.
