Want to bike on Sheikh Zayed Road? Sign up now for Dubai Ride 2025

Cyclists across Dubai are gearing up once again as registrations officially open for the Dubai Ride — one of the city’s most anticipated community sporting events.

Returning on November 2, 2025, the region’s biggest cycling event will mark the opening weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), inviting thousands to pedal through the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Water Canal, and the Museum of the Future.

Now in its sixth edition, the event celebrates the UAE’s Year of Community, continuing its mission to unite residents through fitness and camaraderie. Last year, more than 37,000 participants joined the ride, turning Dubai’s main thoroughfares into a vast cycling track.

This year’s edition features two routes catering to all fitness levels and abilities: a 12km route along Sheikh Zayed Road for experienced riders and a 4km loop through Downtown Dubai for families and beginners. The event also provides dedicated entry points and support for People of Determination, including those using hand cycles, tandem bikes, and adapted bicycles.

For seasoned cyclists, the Dubai Ride Speed Laps will return, offering a rare chance to test endurance on Sheikh Zayed Road’s 12km stretch. Participants must maintain a minimum speed of 30km/h and use racer bikes that can sustain this pace. Registration for Speed Laps opens on October 6.

Cyclists can collect their event bibs for both categories from Zabeel Park’s 30×30 Fitness Village between October 29 and November 1.
