Kuwait arrests resident over foiled plot to bomb places of worship

Kuwaiti authorities announced the arrest of a resident accused of plotting to attack places of worship in the country. The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the suspect, an Arab national linked to a banned organization, was apprehended following detailed investigations by security forces.

A search of his residence reportedly uncovered explosive-making devices, raw materials, and written instructions on preparing and deploying them, highlighting the grave risk posed by the planned attack.

In a statement, the ministry emphasized its resolve to act decisively against any attempt to undermine national safety. “It will not, under any circumstances, allow such terrorist plots to proceed and will confront them with full force and determination in order to protect the nation’s security and the safety of its citizens and residents,” it said.
