Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna brings young romance to Middle East cinemas this Oct 2

Filipino moviegoers in the Middle East are in for a treat as Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna officially screens in cinemas across the region starting October 2, 2025.

Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana and produced by Viva Films with Ninuno Media, the film stars Ashtine Olviga and Andres Muhlach in their first major big-screen pairing. The movie has already stirred excitement in the Philippines for its nostalgic take on first love, youthful longing, and the bittersweet realities of growing up.

At its heart, Minamahal follows the story of Raffy, a shy high school student with a passion for flowers, and Luna, a visual artist disillusioned by love. What begins as a simple gesture — giving flowers at meaningful moments — blossoms into a complicated on-and-off friendship and romance that stretches from high school into college. Each bloom symbolizes Raffy’s enduring hope, even as life’s challenges threaten to wither their bond.

The film’s unique concept — “100 flowers for Luna” — serves as both a literal and metaphorical thread, weaving together moments of tenderness, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Supporting the young leads is veteran actor Joko Diaz, adding depth to the narrative.

Early reviews have praised the movie for capturing the innocence of teenage love while grounding it in the struggles of adulthood. Its mix of romantic comedy and heartfelt drama has made it one of the most anticipated Filipino releases of the year.
