Taylor Swift fans in the UAE have a reason to celebrate. The globally acclaimed “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert film is set to hit UAE cinemas on November 3, Friday.
Two of the country’s leading cinemas have added the concert film to their “coming soon” lists, confirming its release date for eager fans. Describing the experience, the cinemas noted, “The cultural phenomenon continues on the big screen! Dive into this unique cinematic journey of the record-breaking tour. Fans donning Taylor Swift Eras attire and friendship bracelets are highly encouraged!”
The film made its debut in the USA and Canada on October 12, followed by a release in 90 other nations on October 13. Swift’s expansive global fanbase, often referred to as ‘Swifties’, have been in anticipation of the concert film’s release in their home countries, and UAE fans are no exception.
While tickets are not yet up for grabs, cinemas are gearing up for a massive turnout, predicting theaters to be flooded with fans donned in Swift-inspired ensembles, sporting friendship bracelets, and ready to light up the ambiance.
The concert film showcases footage from the first three nights Taylor Swift graced the stage at the SoFi Stadium in California earlier in August. Impressively, even before its global release, the film’s ticket sales have already exceeded a staggering $100 million.
