Starting September 8, visitors heading to Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) will no longer need to fumble for cash or cards when paying for parking.
Parkonic, in partnership with The Beach JBR, announced that drivers can now link their Salik accounts directly through the Parkonic app to pay for parking. The update, revealed on August 31 via social media, promises a faster and hassle-free experience for residents and tourists alike.
The move is designed to ease the flow of visitors to JBR’s bustling hub of shops, restaurants, and beachside attractions. By using the Salik-linked system, drivers can enter and exit parking areas seamlessly without manual transactions.
Beyond the new feature, The Beach JBR continues to offer other parking perks such as valet services, free Wi-Fi, and validation for complimentary parking. Customers spending at least Dh100 at participating outlets can have their parking validated, with certain restaurants and cinemas granting additional free hours.
Parkonic already operates at several high-profile destinations in Dubai, including Marina Walk, the Museum of the Future, Dubai Harbour, and Palm West Beach. Its presence extends to Abu Dhabi with sites like Arc Towers and Al Qana North, as well as key Sharjah locations such as Al Qasba and Expo Centre.
