The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) will open its new office at the 9th Floor, Nexgen Tower along C-4 Road, EDSA Extension, Pasay City beginning September 1, 2025.
Pre-registered participants of the agency’s Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) and Guidance and Counseling Program (GCP) are advised to proceed to the new location starting that date.
CFO Secretary Dante “Klink” Ang II said the relocation was made to bring services closer to vital government and diplomatic institutions such as the Department of Foreign Affairs, foreign embassies, and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. “Here at CFO, we put our constituents first. We make sure that our primary consideration in big decisions like this is providing greater convenience for Filipino emigrants. We’re always looking to improve our services and how we deliver,” Ang said.
Aside from being strategically placed within the country’s migration gateway, the move is also cost-saving, resulting in a 10% cut in rental fees. The new office provides better parking facilities and is more accessible to 70% of CFO employees who live in Parañaque, Cavite, and nearby areas.
“We’ll do what we can to make it more convenient both for our constituents and our workforce during the transition period. We’re hoping this move leads to more extension offices to make our services more accessible to outbound Filipinos across the country,” Ang added.
The CFO recently inaugurated its first extension office in Cagayan de Oro, adding to its existing branches in Cebu, Davao, and Baguio. With the opening of the Pasay office, the agency will now have five main locations nationwide, plus service desks at NAIA Terminals 1 and 2.
