The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) announced that both offices will be closed on Monday, 25 August 2025, in observance of National Heroes’ Day.
Despite the holiday, officials assured the public that emergency hotlines will remain open. The consulate can be reached at +971 4 220 7100 for passport, notarial, and civil registry concerns, while assistance for non-OFWs may be sought via +971 56 501 5756. For OFWs, MWO can be contacted at +971 50 652 6626 or +971 56 353 5558.
To ease concerns of workers with urgent travel, MWO said special arrangements are in place. OFWs with confirmed flights on 25–26 August may process requirements ahead of time by visiting MWO-Dubai on Friday, 22 August, from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Workers may also verify contracts online through dmw.dataflowgroup.com or authorize representatives to transact on their behalf.
