Philippine Airlines (PAL) has expanded its routes to Siargao, giving travelers more options to reach the country’s surfing capital through its Clark and Cebu hubs. The new flights come with one-way base fares starting at P4,388.
The airline said the additional connections are meant to make Siargao more accessible to both local and international tourists, complementing its existing Manila-Siargao service.
“Granting Siargao alternative air connections via Clark and Cebu addresses the appeal for air access and encourages local tourism and economic activity,” PAL Express president Rabbi Ang said. He added that the airline is “happy to play a leading role in the steady development of Siargao, wherein both the visitors and the residents will prosper due to expanded air transport opportunities.”
The move follows PAL’s launch of its Ultimate Seat Sale 2025, which offered domestic flights for as low as P189 one-way and international roundtrip economy fares starting at $59.
PAL’s expansion comes on the back of solid financial results, marking its 15th consecutive profitable quarter. For April to June 2025, the airline reported a 48% jump in net income to $60 million, as revenues rose to $831 million and operating income climbed to $71 million.
