Pinas Cargo Qatar strengthens ties with Philippine Embassy in Doha

The Pinas Cargo Qatar team paid a courtesy call to the Philippine Embassy in Doha, where they were warmly welcomed by Ambassador H.E. Mardomel Celo D. Melicor and First Secretary and Consul, Hon. Cassandra B. Sawadjaan.

The visit served as an important opportunity to update embassy officials on the company’s operations and reaffirm its commitment to serve overseas Filipinos in Qatar. Ambassador Melicor commended the team for bringing the “trusted and reliable PINAS brand of service” to the Filipino community, recalling his attendance at the grand opening of Pinas Cargo Qatar led by Founder and CEO Marlyn Castro and HR and Marketing Manager Rumelyn Aribon.

From its beginnings in the UAE more than a decade ago, Pinas Cargo has become one of the most recognized Filipino-owned cargo companies in the region. Its expansion into Qatar marked a new milestone, providing affordable and secure balikbayan box services to OFWs. Team Qatar proudly reported that their first batch of shipments from Doha has already reached the Philippines, with families of OFWs receiving their long-awaited boxes.

Beyond logistics, Pinas Cargo Qatar emphasized its active involvement in community initiatives, including partnership programs with organizations and businesses, as well as the establishment of multiple Box Stations across the country to make their services more accessible.

Present during the visit were Raquelyn Manaloto, Database Management In-Charge; Beniedick Natividad, Marketing Executive; Randy Lamsen, Senior Marketing Executive and Operations Manager of Pinas Travel; and Arlene Paguio, Customer Service Representative. Completing the team are Eingelbert Losito, Managing Partner; Federico Castro, Sales Collector; and Jeremie Castro, Sales Collector.
