Pinay missing in Ajman for over a week, family seeks help

A Filipina in Ajman has been reported missing for more than a week, prompting her family to seek the public’s help in locating her.

According to her cousin, Mia Ismael, 33-year-old Arbaya Amilil was last seen on August 5, 2025 in her room in Ajman’s Rumaila area, as she was leaving for work. She was wearing her work uniform, a hijab, and carrying only her work bag, which contained her phone.

“Naipagbigay-alam na po sa pulis, at sabi nila mag-u-update na lang,” Mia said, adding that no CCTV footage or witnesses have so far confirmed her movements after she left.

Arbaya’s family says she usually visits her siblings in Ras Al Khaimah during her days off, and previously lived in Satwa, Dubai. However, they have no information on her current circle of friends or exact contacts outside of work.

The family insists that Arbaya has no known medical conditions and there were no unusual events prior to her disappearance.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Mia Ismael directly or coordinate with the Ajman police.
