SB19 and Sarah Geronimo shocked fans with the unexpected twist in their collaborative music film Umaaligid, which plays out like a murder mystery filled with tension, betrayal, and high-stakes drama.
In the 10-minute video, the P-Pop sensation and the Popstar Royalty are portrayed as suspects in a murder investigation, all tied to the brutal takedown of a party antagonist named Victor. What starts as a chaotic night quickly spirals into a deadly confrontation.
Each SB19 member has a bone to pick with Victor—he cheats Ken at poker, destroys Stell’s father’s guitar, drugs Justin’s drink, and antagonizes Pablo over a past relationship. Josh, initially siding with Victor, eventually snaps. Sarah’s character, on the other hand, fiercely protects her sister Lily from an attempted assault.
The tension explodes into a series of physical altercations, culminating in Victor being left unconscious. In a surprising finale, the group is interrogated by police and each one confesses to the murder.
Umaaligid marks the first official project under Sarah’s newly launched label, G-Music, and the highly anticipated collaboration was first teased in 2024.
SB19 is currently taking their Simula at Wakas World Tour global, promoting their latest EP of the same title, which features tracks like “DAM” and “DUNGKA!”
