Kris Aquino has opened up once more about her ongoing health battle, revealing that two more diseases have been added to her growing list of medical concerns.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the media personality shared that the recent typhoon aggravated her rheumatoid arthritis, adding, “The typhoon made my rheumatoid arthritis HURT so much.” She noted that the nature and complexity of her conditions have made it difficult to explain the full extent of her health challenges.
Now living in a coastal area she described as peaceful, Kris said, “Living where I get fresh sea air and listen to the waves was always my dream.” However, she also disclosed that her condition has left her reliant on a wheelchair, and she faces the difficult task of relearning how to walk.
In a show of optimism, Kris announced that her son Bimby would soon be handling her Instagram account. “Bimb will soon take over my IG (with me checking before he posts). Get to know us because we are very different people now,” she wrote, inviting followers to engage respectfully.
She ended her post with a touch of humor, likening her worsening health to the multiplying Gremlins. “I now have 9 primary autoimmune diseases, #10 is a result of the 9, and I have an 11th disease that came about because of my lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren’s, and a few of my other autoimmune diseases,” she revealed.
Despite the setbacks, Kris remains determined to stay connected with her supporters, even as she navigates a drastically changed life. “I’m not the same me and I want to give all of you the KRIS you deserve,” she admitted.
