The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) has reported a nearly perfect match between the physical and electronically transmitted election returns (ERs) for the 2025 national and local polls, marking the highest accuracy rate since 2010.
In a press briefing on Monday, PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson announced a 99.909% match rate based on their unofficial parallel count. Out of over 61,000 election returns manually audited, only three precincts showed discrepancies, resulting in a minimal 0.091% mismatch.
“I would like to note that this is notably low. It is our lowest, and as such, we got our highest match rate of 99.909% here in 2025,” Singson emphasized.
The audit covered 61,482 election returns, representing the votes of more than 38.3 million Filipinos, or about 54.90% of the total voting population.
PPCRV confirmed that the details of the three mismatched precincts, along with their audit logs, have been forwarded to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for further review and clarification.
