Goodbye hassle! OFWs in UAE can now verify contracts without stepping out of the house

In a bid to streamline its services and reduce long queues, the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has officially launched a pilot implementation of an online contract verification system for land-based Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), starting July 7, 2025.

The initiative, outlined in MWO-Dubai Advisory No. 18, Series of 2025, offers a fast, secure, and hassle-free option for OFWs with Emirates IDs issued in Dubai, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain to verify their employment contracts online without visiting the MWO office physically. The pilot program will run for 30 days.

The system was developed by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in partnership with DataFlow Group, and can be accessed via: https://dmw.dataflowgroup.com.

“This fast, secure, and hassle-free system will provide an option to OFWs to apply for contract verification wherever they are,” the advisory reads.

While the system is optional, OFWs with urgent travel plans are still allowed to proceed with manual verification at the MWO-Dubai office one working day prior to their flight.

Application guidelines

The new system will initially accept 200 applications per day, from Mondays to Fridays, beginning at 8:00 AM and closing automatically once the limit is reached or by 11:59 PM, whichever comes first. This cap may be increased depending on evaluator availability and system capacity.

The standard processing time for applications is three (3) working days from the date of application, provided that all required documents are correctly submitted and the verification fee is paid immediately upon notification.

Applicants with approved documents can download their verified employment contracts and view their Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) at the DMW portal: portal.dmw.gov.ph.
