Seven Filipinos injured in Israel-Iran conflict, DFA confirms

Seven Filipinos have been confirmed injured amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

DFA Undersecretary Eduardo De Vega said on Saturday that five of the injured have already been discharged from the hospital, while one individual previously reported in critical condition has undergone surgery.

As tensions continue, De Vega also noted that more Filipinos are now expressing their desire to return to the Philippines.

The DFA earlier raised the crisis alert status to Level 3 for both Israel and Iran, signaling that voluntary repatriation is now in effect.
