Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that public parking across the city will be free from June 5 to 8 in celebration of Eid Al Adha. However, the exemption does not apply to multi-level parking facilities, which will continue to charge regular fees during the holiday.
In addition to the parking update, RTA released the revised operating hours for public transport services. Dubai Metro will run daily from 5am to 1am (the following day) between June 4 and 7, while the Dubai Tram will operate from 6am to 1am over the same period.
For intercity travelers, RTA noted changes in bus operations. Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi will be suspended from June 4 to 8. Commuters are advised to instead take Route E101 from Ibn Battuta. Meanwhile, Route E102 will serve passengers directly from Al Jafiliya to Zayed International Airport, bypassing Ibn Battuta and Musaffah.
The public is encouraged to check the S’hail app for the most up-to-date schedules.
Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed during the holiday, but Smart Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA Head Office will remain open 24/7.
Vehicle service centres will also shut down from June 5 to 7, with limited technical testing services resuming at select locations on Sunday, June 8. Full operations will be back on track across all centres by Monday, June 9.
