Filipino talent took center stage at Lulu Hypermarket Satwa during the grand finals of Kantahang Pinoy 2025, where 28-year-old Almira Lat Trinidad emerged as the competition’s grand winner.
A proud native of Olongapo City and currently residing in Al Warqa, Almira works as a sales admin at the World Trade Center in Dubai. She captivated both the judges and the crowd with her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence, earning her the top spot among 20 finalists selected from over 200 entries submitted during the pre-qualifying round.
Almira received AED 3,000 in gift vouchers as the grand prize, with runners-up also taking home rewards as part of the AED 6,000 total prize pool. The competition was presented by Lulu Hypermarket Satwa in partnership with The Global Filipino Magazine.
A five-member panel reviewed each acapella submission before selecting the final contenders. The event also featured audience giveaways and celebrated the vibrant musical talent within the Filipino community in Dubai.
