Bravo! Bake Shop Cafe has officially opened its doors in Oud Metha at Al Nasr Square, offering a haven for dessert lovers with its lineup of handcrafted “Bespoke Bakes Artisan Cakes.” The grand opening, marked by an intimate gathering of friends, family, and business leaders, showcased the community’s warm support for this sweet venture.
Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver, Consul General Hon. Marford A. Angeles, and Ms. Cyra Canto, Public Diplomacy Officer, were among the distinguished guests who graced the event. Community leaders from the Philippine Business Council and the Filipino Social Club also attended, reflecting the strong Filipino community presence.
At the heart of Bravo!’s success is Chef Jose “Kriss” Retirado, a passionate baker whose journey began as an online seller. His talent caught the attention of Ms. Myla Bijasa and Ms. Olive Samson, owners of the well-known Paluto Restaurant, who became his mentors and business partners. After two years of dedication and collaboration, they have launched the first branch of Bravo! Cakes.
Bravo! offers a variety of cake flavors, including the classic Ube, tropical Mango, indulgent Lotus Biscoff, exotic Pistachio Kunaffa, and the innovative Ube Mango combination—each crafted to satisfy diverse palates.
