The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi is inviting all Filipinos and community groups in the UAE to participate in an Online Global Townhall Meeting on Overseas Voting, scheduled for May 1, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (UAE time).
The virtual session, hosted via Zoom, aims to engage the Filipino diaspora in discussions surrounding the upcoming 2025 national elections and to encourage active participation in overseas voting. Attendees can join using Zoom Meeting ID: 868 8046 8540 and Passcode: 825550.
In addition to the Zoom event, the townhall will be livestreamed on COMELEC’s official social media channels, allowing a wider global audience to tune in. Viewers can access the broadcast via COMELEC’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The initiative supports the ongoing Philippine overseas online voting period, which runs from April 13 to May 12, 2025. Organizers emphasize that every Filipino vote counts, wherever in the world it may be cast.
