Filipinos in the UAE now have a faster and more convenient way to send money home through the Botim app, thanks to a partnership with BDO Remit.
With just a few taps, OFWs can instantly transfer funds to their family’s BDO Kabayan Savings accounts in the Philippines. The feature is accessible through Botim, a popular messaging and voice app in the region, which now also supports remittance services powered by Payby—a trusted global payment platform in the Middle East since 2005.
This new service ensures real-time crediting of funds, giving peace of mind to senders and immediate support to families back home. According to the campaign, users can enjoy 24/7 money transfers, and their loved ones receive the amount instantly through BDO.
The app is available for download on both the App Store and Google Play. It’s a reliable option under BDO’s #AlagangKabayan commitment, offering regulated services under the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and insured deposits through PDIC for up to ₱1 million per depositor.
