Kapuso host Drew Arellano took to social media to share a personal update, posting a photo of himself in an operating room after undergoing a vasectomy. The procedure comes just a few months after he and wife Iya Villania welcomed their fifth child, Anya Love, on February 11, 2025.
In his post, Drew added a playful caption: “Happy late and advanced Mother’s Day to my wife,” hinting that the decision was his way of giving a special — and lasting — gift to Iya.
A vasectomy is a minor surgical procedure where the tubes that carry sperm are cut and sealed, effectively making it a permanent form of birth control. Drew and Iya, who are now proud parents to Antonio Primo, Alonzo Leon, Alana Lauren, Astro Phoenix, and Anya Love, seem content with their growing family and the new chapter ahead.
