Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal recognized in ‘The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2023’

Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal has earned a prestigious spot in “The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2023,” securing the 44th position in the inaugural list released by the brand 50 Best.

This monumental recognition comes months after the grandiose opening ceremony that took place earlier this year, featuring star-studded performances and celebrity appearances.

The 50 Best brand, renowned for its rankings of the best restaurants and bars globally, expanded its horizons this year to include hotels in its yearly roundup.

This announcement marks the first global launch since 2009, signaling a notable expansion of the brand’s portfolio.

Italy’s lakeside boutique establishment, Passalacqua in Moltrasio, clinched the top position, praised for its extraordinary architecture and exemplary service, just a year after its inauguration.

The family-owned property offers an intimate experience with just 24 rooms set in a historic eighteenth-century villa.

Timothy Kelly, the executive vice president and managing director of Atlantis The Royal, expressed his gratitude and excitement in an Instagram statement. “We are truly honored and humbled for Atlantis The Royal to be featured in the inaugural list of The World’s 50 Best Hotels,” Kelly wrote. He acknowledged the relentless efforts of his team in achieving this milestone, emphasizing that the recognition fuels their spirit to “continue raising the bar and setting new standards of excellence in hospitality.”

Atlantis The Royal has swiftly emerged as a landmark destination since its launch in January, catching global attention when pop icon Beyoncé graced its stage during the grand opening.

The event, a star-packed gathering with notable personalities such as Jay Z, Kendall Jenner, and Liam Payne, showcased the Royal’s ability to host world-class events. Reports suggest Beyoncé’s performance was a result of an irresistible offer amounting to a staggering $24 million.
