Dubai Police have arrested a motorcyclist after a video of him performing dangerous stunts at high speeds made rounds on social media. The masked rider was seen driving recklessly and letting go of the handlebars, prompting authorities to take swift action for endangering public safety.
The police confirmed that the motorcycle has been impounded. Under Decree No. (30) of 2023, owners of seized vehicles could face fines of up to Dh50,000 to retrieve them.
This incident follows a similar case in Sharjah earlier this month, where a 20-year-old Arab motorcyclist was arrested for performing road stunts. Authorities said he was taken into custody after the footage of his actions was widely shared online.
