TV host and Drag Race Philippines judge KaladKaren has put an end to speculations about her relationship, confirming that she and her husband, Luke Wrightson, remain together.
“Ako pa rin si Mrs. Jervi Wrightson,” she declared during the February 28 broadcast of Frontline Pilipinas.
Concerns over their marriage surfaced after netizens noticed that some of their photos together had disappeared from her Instagram and that she had posted a TikTok lip-syncing to Ariana Grande’s heartbreak song We Can’t Be Friends.
Addressing the rumors, KaladKaren clarified that while their relationship has its challenges, they remain committed to each other.
“Our marriage is not perfect. Katulad ng ibang couples, siyempre may misunderstandings, merong challenges, at hindi rin po nakakatulong na minsan hindi kami magkasama kasi Luke is working abroad,” she explained.
“But for 13 years, sinubok na po kami ng panahon at araw-araw, pinipili naming mahalin ang isa’t isa. We’re still together. Wala po kaming problema ni Luke. Masaya po kaming mag-asawa.”
Luke, she added, had just arrived in the Philippines.
KaladKaren also addressed the social media buzz, saying her TikTok video was posted simply because she “felt like it,” and her Instagram feed is now curated by her management for work purposes.
“Napagtagpi-tagpi nalang ng mga netizens ‘yung kwento,” she said, calling out the spread of misinformation. “May gumagawa pa ng fake news, fake videos… Let’s mind our own business.”
She shared that Luke found the speculation amusing.
KaladKaren and Luke first met in Hong Kong in 2012, got engaged in 2020, and tied the knot in England on September 8, 2024.
