Eight out of 12 senatorial candidates backed by the Marcos administration have landed in the top 12 of a recent pre-election survey conducted by WR Numero.
Released on Wednesday, February 26, the non-commissioned poll was conducted from February 10 to 18, 2025, involving face-to-face interviews with 1,814 adults nationwide.
ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo topped the survey with 46.5%, while incumbent senators Lito Lapid, Bong Revilla, and Pia Cayetano occupied the 2nd to 4th places with 37.1%, 36.1%, and 35.8% respectively.
Former Senate President Tito Sotto, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, independent bet Ben Tulfo, and former senator Ping Lacson occupied the 5th to 7th spots.
Former President Duterte’s PDP-Laban candidates, Senators Bong Go and Bato dela Rosa, secured the 8th-10th places alongside former senator Manny Pacquiao, an Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas candidate.
Independent TV personality Willie Revillame and former senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan took spots 11 to 14.
According to WR Numero President Cleve Arguelles, results could still shift, especially among those in the lower rankings, highlighting the role of local political endorsements in determining the final winners in May.
