Starting March 1, the minimum top-up amount for Nol cards at ticket vending machines in Dubai Metro stations will rise from Dh5 to Dh20, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced.
Commuters have multiple options to reload their Nol cards, with top-up amounts varying depending on the method used. For those recharging at Metro station ticket offices, the minimum amount is Dh50.
Nol cards serve as a convenient cashless payment option for public transport in Dubai. Beyond commuting, they can also be used for various purchases, such as groceries and meals at select establishments. In December, the RTA expanded Nol card usability, allowing them to be used for accredited e-scooter payments.
