Former couple Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz came together once again to celebrate a significant milestone in their eldest daughter Angelina Cruz’s life—her college graduation.
Angelina, who earned her marketing management degree from De La Salle University in Manila, shared photos from her graduation ceremony on Instagram on February 23. Expressing gratitude for the journey, she wrote, “Filled with so much gratitude. What an honor it has been to learn, grow, and graduate!”
Sunshine expressed her pride in her daughter’s achievement, celebrating the moment with a heartfelt message: “We are so proud of you! I’ve always prayed for this. Keep shining and we will be by your side all the way.”
Cesar also marked the occasion with his own post, calling Angelina his “baby Buching” and praying for her continued success and guidance from above.
Montano and Cruz, who married in 2000 and had their marriage annulled in 2018, have maintained a civil relationship for their daughters. Over the years, they have reunited for family milestones, including birthdays and graduations.
Angelina previously shared in December 2023 that she was happy her parents have put past conflicts behind them, describing their relationship as being filled with “good vibes” and love.
Outside their co-parenting, Cesar has other children from previous relationships, including actor Diego Loyzaga, while Sunshine’s relationship with businessman Atong Ang was publicly confirmed in December 2024.
