The UAE has introduced a new visa specifically designed for individuals seeking business opportunities within the country. This “Business Opportunities” visa allows investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and financiers to explore potential ventures in the UAE, WAM reported.
The visa, offered by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), can be issued for single or multiple entries, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and needs. Regardless of the number of entries, the total stay in the UAE cannot exceed 180 days. The ICP outlined four key requirements for applicants: they must be a qualified professional in their respective field, hold a passport valid for at least six months, possess UAE health insurance, and have a confirmed onward or departure ticket.
According to Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the ICP, this new visa underscores the UAE’s commitment to attracting global talent and investment. He highlighted the country’s advanced infrastructure, legal system, and logistical support, all designed to foster business growth. The visa offers flexible validity periods of 60, 90, or 120 days, catering to various investment exploration needs, while the 180-day limit provides ample time for potential business engagements. Al Khaili emphasized that the UAE aims to create a thriving environment for entrepreneurs and investors to launch innovative projects that contribute to the nation’s economic progress.
