Davao-based content creator Crist Briand issued a public apology on the evening of February 16 after receiving backlash for a video he filmed earlier that day near the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound.
In the now-deleted video, Crist demonstrated how to urinate near a highway, showing an area outside the KOJC premises. The clip sparked criticism, prompting Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Israelito Torreon, to demand a public apology. Torreon also warned of possible legal action if Crist failed to comply.
Crist, who has faced criticism in the past for his controversial content, took down the video and apologized following the lawyer’s statement.
