Dubai’s Philippine Consulate General is set to host Konsyerto sa Konsulado, a special musical event on February 14, 2025, featuring Filipino singers who have excelled at the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA). Part of the Labindalawa: 12 Activations for June 12 campaign, the concert celebrates Filipino artistry and cultural expression.
Hon. Hans Leo J. Cacdac, Secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers, will be the Guest of Honor at the event, which coincides with Valentine’s Day. The concert will highlight the power of music to connect and inspire, with world-class performances showcasing the Philippines’ rich musical heritage.
“Konsyerto sa Konsulado is a reminder that freedom is not just political—it’s cultural, emotional, and deeply personal,” said Consul General Marford M. Angeles.
Beyond entertainment, the event reinforces the Consulate’s commitment to cultural diplomacy, fostering unity and pride among overseas Filipinos. It also underscores the government’s recognition of migrant workers’ contributions to both the economy and the arts.
