Sharjah authorities are investigating the death of a 44-year-old Syrian man who fell from a high-rise building in the Al Taawun area late on January 31.
In a Gulf News report, Sharjah Police confirmed on Wednesday that the man, identified as M.A., was found by bystanders, who immediately alerted emergency services. Police, CID, and paramedics arrived at the scene, where they discovered the victim lying in a pool of blood.
Despite rapid response efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries. His body was taken to the hospital and later transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
Authorities have yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the fall. Investigators are exploring all possibilities, including suicide and potential foul play, though no further details have been disclosed.
