Philippine Airlines named best travel brand in PH, second in Southeast Asia

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has been recognized as the top travel brand in the Philippines and the second-best in Southeast Asia, according to the annual ranking by Campaign Asia. The flag carrier earned a score of 63.15%, securing its position as the highest-rated airline in the country.

PAL outshined competitors such as Cebu Pacific (54.9%), booking platform Klook (51.75%), and Emirates (49.95%). The airline received top marks in customer service, buying experience, and brand awareness, with Campaign Asia highlighting PAL’s longstanding reputation as the oldest operating airline in Asia.

Regionally, PAL ranked just behind Vietnam Airlines, which led the list with an average score of 76.05%. Despite strong competition, PAL surpassed several major carriers, including Thai Airways, Garuda Indonesia, and Singapore Airlines.

PAL vice president for marketing Alvin Miranda expressed pride in the recognition and reiterated the airline’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience as it expands its domestic and international network.

The airline has also gained recognition for its punctuality, ranking seventh in on-time performance among carriers in Asia-Pacific in 2024. With the largest international network among Philippine airlines, PAL continues to grow its reach by adding new routes and increasing flights in key hubs like Cebu.
