Social media personality Rendon Labador has once again taken aim at viral paresan owner and content creator Diwata, also known as Deo Balbuena, over his candidacy in the May 2025 elections. Diwata is running as the fourth nominee of the Vendors Party-list.
In a Facebook post, Rendon openly questioned Diwata’s decision to push through with his political aspirations. “Si Rosmar (Tan) umatras na, kailan kaya aatras si Diwata? Hindi pa ba natatauhan?” he wrote, referring to influencer-entrepreneur Rosmar Tan’s recent withdrawal from her candidacy for councilor in Manila’s first district.
Rendon followed up with another post suggesting a challenge for Diwata: “Dalhin natin sa Marilque si Diwata kapag hindi umatras.”
This is not the first time Rendon has criticized Diwata. Back in October 2024, when Diwata filed his Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA) at The Manila Hotel Tent City, Rendon expressed doubts about his qualifications. “Baka akala ni Diwata magluluto at magtitinda lang siya ng Pares, pakitanong nga kung alam niya yang pinapasok niya. Nag-aalala ako para sa kanya,” he posted.
Meanwhile, Rendon praised Rosmar Tan’s decision to back out of the elections, calling it a well-thought-out move. “Proud kuya here! Isang taon din yun pinag-isipan ah… Muntik na tayo guys,” he wrote.
He also defended Rosmar against critics, emphasizing her charitable efforts. “Pero mas madami talaga natutulungan si Rosmar, tumakbo o hindi, may kamera man o wala tumutulong talaga yan. Saksi ako diyan! Mabuting tao talaga yan, sadyang madami lang haters at naiinis talaga sa kanya kasi forte niya talaga mang-inis hahahaha!”
