GMA Network’s flagship public affairs program, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), maintained its position as the Philippines’ most-watched television show in 2024, marking its 20th year with record-breaking ratings and billions of online views.
According to Nielsen TV Audience Measurement data, KMJS achieved a combined people rating of 14.3 percent across GMA, GTV, and Pinoy Hits in Total Philippines (Urban and Rural). On GMA alone, the show recorded a 12.9 percent people rating, solidifying its dominance in the country’s TV landscape.
In Urban Philippines, KMJS consistently topped the ratings each month throughout 2024, averaging a 14.4 percent people rating on GMA. Across all platforms, the program secured a combined rating of 16 percent, further cementing its status as the nation’s leading TV show.
“To be rated the most-watched Philippine TV program is a huge blessing, especially on our 20th year! I owe this to my excellent staff and to all our viewers and followers! Maraming, maraming salamat po na tayo pa rin ang magka-kuwentuhan tuwing Linggo ng gabi sa nakalipas na dalawang dekada,” said host Jessica Soho.
Beyond television, KMJS continued its digital dominance, garnering 4.7 billion video views across online platforms in 2024. The program’s excellence was also recognized internationally, with its investigative reports becoming finalists at the 2024 Association for International Broadcasting (AIBs) Awards in London and winning the National Award for Best Infotainment at the 2024 Asian Academy Creative Awards.
As KMJS enters its 21st year, Soho is also celebrating her 40th year in the broadcasting industry. To mark this milestone, the show will air a special episode reflecting on her career. Additionally, KMJS’ Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie, a spin-off of its iconic Halloween special, is set for release in 2025 under GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs.
