Dubai opens doors to content creators with long-term Golden Visa residency

Dubai is opening its doors to global content creators with the introduction of the UAE Golden Visa, offering long-term residency of five to ten years. This initiative, part of the newly launched Creators HQ at Emirates Towers, is designed to attract 10,000 influencers and creative professionals to the UAE, backed by an AED 150 million ($40.8 million) Content Creators Support Fund.

The Golden Visa eliminates the need for frequent renewals and a national sponsor, providing creators with stability and ease of residency in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. It is a key feature of the Creators HQ, which serves as a full-service hub supporting content creators with visa assistance, relocation support, and company setup services.

Launched alongside the 1 Billion Followers Summit—a high-profile event that gathered over 15,000 creators and industry leaders—the Creators HQ is central to Dubai’s strategy of becoming a leader in the global creator economy.

More than a workspace, Creators HQ offers creators opportunities to hone their skills through workshops and mentorship programs. The hub hosts over 300 annual events covering video production, branding, monetization strategies, and audience engagement. Collaborations with tech giants like Meta, TikTok, and X bring additional resources, including the “Creators for Purpose” program, aimed at fostering positive and impactful digital content.

The UAE’s Golden Visa program extends its reach to a wide range of professionals, from podcasters and visual artists to media producers and fashion brands.
