UAE provides winter aid to 12,500 displaced people in Gaza

The UAE has successfully completed a major humanitarian campaign to distribute winter clothing to 12,500 displaced individuals in southern Gaza. This initiative is part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” the UAE’s largest relief mission in the region.

The aid effort, launched on Saturday, focused on shelter camps near Al-Aqsa University in Khan Yunis, where the largest group of displaced Palestinians resides.

Hamad Al Neyadi, head of the UAE Relief Mission, emphasized that the operation follows the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide food, medicine, and temporary shelter for Gaza’s residents.

He also revealed plans for further support, including repairing water lines, improving sewage systems, and aiding bakeries and soup kitchens to enhance food security.
